Persian, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Figural painting on ivory depicting four male polo players in different colored and gilt accented tunics on horseback in a stylized landscape with patches of green grass with wildflowers. Vertically aligned plaque framed within hand painted border in a mosaic frame with star motif. Framed approximately 12.5" x 10.25". Sight size of plaque approximately 5.25" x 3.5".
