Note: This lamp was purchased at Christie's 20th Century Sale in Geneva on May 13, 1990. The sale was referred to as Helvetie. In that sale the footnote read that the lamp was purchased from Lillian Nassau and was sold with the original bill of sale, but that documentation is not available with this transaction.
