"Potatoes" Hooked Rug, probably Canada, early 20th century, the motif resembles a potato sack depicting a sculptured mound of tan potatoes and red lettering "150 lbs Garden of the Gulf Brand Potatoes Prince Edward Island," hooked on variegated black and gray ground, edged with black binding, (minor fading), 21 1/2 x 35 1/2 in.
