Classical Carved Mahogany and Flame Birch Veneer Card Table, Boston area, 1815-25, the dramatically shaped hinged tops (the lower one with undercut edge), on a conforming skirt veneered with flame birch above rosewood veneer banding and a turned and reeded four-pillar standard on a rectangular platform with beaded edges supporting four curving legs with carved and applied leafage and teardrops ending in brass paw feet on casters, (some sun bleaching), ht. 28 1/2, wd. 36 1/2, dp. 19 1/2 in.
