Guido Cacciapuoti (Italian, 1892-1953). A pair of porcelain figurines depicting Napoleonic era imperial French soldiers, one being "Garde Imp: Porte Drapeau" depicting a soldier in blue tail coat with pink sash to chest standing with a French flag spread behind his shoulders with flag pole in his right hand (approximately 15 1/8" tall), the other being "Gard Imp. Fusilier Grenadier" which depicts a traveling soldier with blue tail coat, plumed tall hat, double knives to his belt, and a pack with sleeping roll to his back with a bayonetted rifle clutched to his front (approximately 12.5" tall). Each figurine raised on a porcelain pedestal with gilt scrolled corners and "N" within a wreathed medallion to front, with name of piece inscribed to verso of pedestal. Each with inscribed signature to underside "Cacciapuoti" and a numbered label from the artist's studio above impressed "Made in Italy", the "Porte Drapeau" figure with indistinguishable signature to back portion of pedestal top.
