Federal Gilt Mahogany Eglomise Banjo Timepiece, dial signed "S. Whiting Concord," Massachusetts, c. 1808-17, the acorn finial over dial enclosing an eight-day weight-driven movement, above throat glass with foliate devices and flanked by brass side arms, lower tablet depicting a lakeside village, both framed by applied ropetwist decoration, (throat tablet replaced, dial repainted), ht. 33 1/4 in.
