A. Le Prevost (French, ac. 1860-1868) Ship Fanny Fern of Bath Entering the Port of Havre. Signed and dated "A. Le Prevost Havre 1860" l.r., shown flying an American flag. Mixed media including watercolor and pen and ink on paper, sight 11 1/2 x 17 in., framed. Condition: Scattered stains and foxmarks, light toning, not examined out of frame. N.B. Le Prevost appears to have been popular among Maine sea captains. The reverse bears the label of The Old Print Shop.
