Freres, second half 19th century, oval, the cut glass insert with scalloped rim, with cut crosshatch decoration, the sides reeded, resting on a silver stand, the rim with embossed scroll band, above the openwork foliate and festoon sides, with two central cartouches surmounted by doves and flanked by cherubs, resting on four hoof feet with ram head knees, (minor losses), approx. 60 troy oz., ht. 7 1/8, lg. 15 1/4, wd. 9 1/8 in.
