Two Needlework Samplers and Ephemera Mounted in a Giltwood Frame, probably New England, late 18th century, centered with pen and ink on paper handwritten list of school rules and regulations flanked by a small linen and wool sampler with silk stitches, one with alphabet panels above the inscription "Deborah Young Wrought This Sampler In The 11 Year Of Her Age July The 26 In The Year Of Our Lord God 1793 & Remember Me When This You Se. " (sic); the other sampler with alphabet panels above a pious verse and inscribed "Hannah Youngs work October 9th, 1799.," (thread losses, tear to paper), 14 7/8 x 24 7/8 in.
