Chinese, 20th century. Collection of eight miniature carved jade and stone musical instruments comprising of a pipa (four stringed lute with pear shaped body); a yueqin (Chinese guitar); a guqin (a seven stringed zither); an erhu (two stringed fiddle); a haotong (copper signal pipe); a sheng (mouth organ); a classical violin; and a three stringed instrument. Accompanied with seven stained wood stands. Classical violin measures approximately 3.6". Sheng measures approximately 2.5".
