Rare Creamware Coffee Pot and Cover, Britain, c. 1800, each dipped in brick-red slip with black bands at rims and black mocha dendritic decoration, the cover, with its original ball knop, is restored and stuck to the body, the extruded handle with foliate terminals, (several lines in the body were professionally glued), total ht. 11 1/2 in. Provenance: Orkney & Yost, Franklin, Connecticut.
