Red Painted Pine Tall Case Clock, New England, early 19th century, the hood with scrolled fretwork joining three plinths above the arched cove-molded cornice and turned freestanding columns flanking the wood painted dial with a sailing vessel in the arch, and quarter fan spandrels, with a thirty-hour wooden movement, the waist with rectangular arched door with cove mid-molding on applied bracket feet, original surface, (imperfections), ht. 88 in. Note: Back of dial inscribed "No. 47."
