Maple Turned Banister-back Armchair, Massachusetts or Rhode Island, early 18th century, the double arched and molded crest above four split banisters flanked by turned finials on vase and ring-turned stiles, the turned downward sloping arms joined to the mushroom handholds on vase and ring supports continuing to legs ending in turned feet joined by double turned stretchers, old refinish, (minor restoration), ht. 47 3/4, seat ht. 17 3/4 in.
