Applique and Embroidered Cotton Friendship Quilt, Louden, New Hampshire, c. 1850 and 1930, thirty-six hand-sewn block of dark green printed calico on white ground, each appliqued, embroidered, and inscribed by members of the Baptist Church for Reverend William A. Sargent. Note: Reverend Sargent's daughter Clara Sargent Hickok assembled the squares into a quilt with a border and binding in the 1930s.
