Classical Mahogany and Gilt Gesso Mantel Clock, Birge, Mallory, and Co. , Bristol, Connecticut, c. 1830, the scrolled cornice with a fruit-filled basket flanked by square plinths above a glazed door enclosing a white painted and gilt dial and seven-day brass strap weight-driven movement and mirror below and a reverse-painted tablet below that, all flanked by gilded engaged and free-standing columns on ball feet, refinished, (restoration, imperfections), ht. 38, wd. 17, dp. 5 in.
