Three Pieces of Polychrome Decorated Chinese Export Porcelain, late 18th/early 19th century, a plate decorated with an American sailing vessel, having a cobalt blue and gilt star border monogrammed "TG"; a teacup and saucer with a marine theme of Hope and a sailing vessel; a teacup and saucer in lavender shades depicting a landscape scene, (hairlines, minor chips), dia. 7 1/2, 5 1/2, 5 1/2 in. Provenance: The Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University, Edward and Bertha Rose Collection of Ceramics. Sold to benefit the acquisition fund.
