English, first quarter of 20th century. A 6 piece sterling and faux tortoiseshell dressing table set or vanity set, circa 1920s, comprising a hand mirror, four brushes and a comb, each hallmarked for W. G. Sother & Co., Birmingham, circa 1925, except for the comb which is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling , circa 1911. All pieces in fitted box, the ivory satin covered interior lid housing the hand mirror and stamped for Kendal & Dent, 106 Cheapside, London. Approximate height of box 2.75", width14", depth 8". Approximate lengths hand mirror 10.37", handled brush 9.62", handled brush 9.87", hand brushes 6", comb 7.37"
