Painted Poplar Cupboard, Fulton County, Ohio, 1865, the top section with flat molded cornice above two hinged doors with raised panels opening to shelves with a valanced open central shelf and two short drawers all flanked by chamfered corners, the lower projecting section with three short drawers and two cupboard doors all on bracket feet, salmon-red painted surface with subtle designs contrasting with green and gilt stenciled designs, (imperfections), ht. 86, wd. 57, dp. 21 1/2 in. Note: Underside of drawer inscribed "Fulton County, Ohio/ May 30, 1865/ J Wing."
