Inkstand covered in tortoiseshell veneer with rolled handles on sides at ends of two matching glass inkwells with diamond motif banding and gilt bronzed lids with round finials above textured dome, curved recessed pen well at front and back. Inkwell raised on gilt metal acanthus leaf and lion's paw feet. Height 4.25", width 9.75", depth 5". Provenance: From a Private Collection in Rabun Gap, Georgia.
