English, mid 19th century. "Wellington at Waterloo" - 1837, hand colored engraving by Frederick Bromley (fl. 1856-1860) after the painting by A. Cooper, published by Henry Graves & Co. (England/ London, 1806-1892). Print depicts figures on horseback at the Battle of Waterloo, which took place on June 18th, 1815. Inscribed below image on left "Painting by A. Cooper", at center "London, Published June 18, 1837 by Henry Graves & Co. Printsellers to the King, 6 Pall Mall", and on right "Engraved by F. Bromley". Framed 31.5" x 35", unframed sight size 21.25 x 25".
