Lancaster, Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut dressing table, ca. 1770 , the rectangular top with thumb molded edge overhanging a case with one long drawer, above a central short drawer with incised shell carving and applied floral streamers flanked by two drawers and fluted chamfered corners, over a scalloped skirt with shell carving supported by shell carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet, retains period brasses, 29 1/2" h., 33" w., 20" d.
