Framed Crewel Embroidered Chair Seat Cover, possibly Boston, 18th century, the seat cover with wool yarns stitched on a linen ground in a vibrant floral and fruit pattern in shades of red, pink, yellow, blue, and green on a green ground, a label affixed to the reverse reads "Hancock Mansion House crewel seat cover," the seat cover stretched over a 16 1/2 x 21 in. panel, in a molded wood frame.
