Federal Gilt Pier Glass, Salem or Boston, Massachusetts, c. 1806, the overhanging entablature with acorn-shaped spherules and neoclassical raised designs over the frieze with a central fluted scrolled shell flanked by projecting corners mounted with sheaves of wheat above spiral carved columns with leaf carved capitals and spiral bases, flanking a two-part glass, some regilding, replaced glass, (very minor imperfections), ht. 78 1/4, wd. 38 1/2, (frieze) overall wd. 45 1/2 in.
