Bennett, Arnold (1867-1931), Autograph manuscript signed with initials on title page, Venus Rising from the Sea , title page dated London, 1929, ninety-seven pages, neatly written and maintained in a small three-ring binder, with an asterisk in the margin for each 100 words, the last page inscribed "23,200 London 14. 5.29," each chapter heading with large red initial, each sheet 8 by 5 in., with half leather and cloth clam box; together with a copy of Venus Rising from the Sea , London: Cassell & Company, 1931, cloth with slip case, one of 350, illustrated and signed by E. McKnight Kaufer, (minor wear).
