Attributed to George Gunther Hartwick, (American, active 1845-60) Two Men Viewing a River Landscape. Unsigned. Oil on canvas, depicting the two men on a large rock overlooking a river with several sailboats and large rocky outcroppings, with the sun breaking through a cloudy sky, 15 1/2 x 19 3/8 in. (sight), in a gilt gesso frame. Condition: Lined, several small areas of retouch, craquelure.
