Marjorie Helen Thomas (American, b. 1885) Noon Hour Signed "Marjorie Thomas" l.l., labels from the North Shore Arts Exhibition 1947 and Grand Central Art Galleries, New York, on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 24 x 32 1/4 in. (61 x 81.7 cm), framed. Condition: Minor losses to right edge. N.B. Thomas studied at the Museum School at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Noon Hour was featured in an article on the artist in the November 24, 1947 issue of the Christian Science Monitor.
