French Painted Eye Character Girl by Louis Aimee Lejeune, c. 1910, shoulder head with softly sculpted and painted features, blue eyes, delicate lash painting above and below eyes with eye shadow, broad nose, closed semi-pursed mouth (old hairline to center of forehead, chips along bottom edge of shoulder plate), three sew holes, impressed mark on back depicts wings and LL, attributed to Louis Aimee Lejeune, gusseted kid body (breaks at knees), bisque lower arms (right chipped, old repair), white organdy blouse, silk blue and white windowpane skirt, vest, and shawl, ht. 22 in.
