Steamer Lexington: a hand-colored lithograph of the fire which destroyed the ship in Long Island Sound, January 13, 1840, with printed account of the sinking and list of survivors and victims along the border, framed and glazed, 13 x 21 in. , and a framed albumen print photograph of a painting of the barque Duchess of Boston . There were only four survivors from the Lexington and one hundred forty casualties.
