Hand carved, polychromed and parcel gilt wood and gesso blackamoor floor length decorative sculptural figure on stand depicted in ornate traditional garb with scrolled foliate motif, banded jewelry, and turban. Figural sculpture in two parts with lower section in the form of an ebonized floor pedestal with hand painted floral ornament and draped cloth. Overall approximate height 82", width 17", depth 17.5". _Provenance: Estate of Mr. Charles Edward Brodnax "Ned" Hansell, Mimosa Hall, Atlanta, Georgia. _
