English, 19th century. "The Zulu War: The March to Ulundi - Occupation of a Military Kraal by British Troops.", hand colored engraving, published by Illustrated London News in 1879. Engraving depicts a scene from the Zulu War of rolling hills across a wide landscape with scattered troops across the view as well as tribal figures grouped in near right foreground. Covered wagons are in view leading down a dirt road to left from which soldiers are marching in formation. Sight size 14.5" x 41.5".
