Queen Anne Cherry, Maple, and Walnut High Chest of Drawers, Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York, last half 18th century, the top section with a flat molded cornice above a case of five thumb-molded graduated drawers, flanked by fluted lambrequin set into a lower case of two long thumb-molded graduated drawers separated by three short drawers, with flanking chamfered corners on cabriole legs ending in arris slipper feet, joined by a deeply valanced skirt, replaced brasses, old refinish, (restored), ht. 73, wd. 39 3/4, dp. 19 3/4 in.
