Jim Hodges (American, b. 1957) The Norton Family Christmas Project 1998: If there had been a pool... Identified on a label from the Danforth Museum as well as on package inserts. Woven blanket, 52 x 72 in. (132 x 182.8 cm), in original plastic sleeve. Condition: Good. N.B. Noted on a card included in the package, "each year the Peter Norton Family commissions an art edition to celebrate the Christmas season and holidays. This blanket suggests an imaginary landscape. The poem, written by Jim, is intended to be read in reverse as if the words were reflected in water." The sale of this lot will benefit the Acquisition Program at the Danforth Museum of Art.
