American School, 19th century. "Boats In Harbor", oil on canvas, signed lower left "L. Petro". Naturalistic painting depicting many boats in a harbor on a dreary day, one fishing vessel to center front with a figure at the bow wearing a rain hat beside a stone dock at left with stairs, behind him many boats stacked up far into the distance below smoky skies. Framed approximately 17.5" x 9.75", unframed approximately 14" x 6".
