Five Blue Transfer Decorated Staffordshire Plates and a Platter, England, early 19th century, plates include: "Llanarth Court Monmouthshire," with floral border, from the Picturesque Scenery Series, by Ralph Hall, with printed title and maker on the reverse; two by Enoch Wood & Sons, "Font Hill Abbey," and "Dalguise, Perthshire" with morning glory and grape border and printed titles on the reverse; two plates and a platter by James and Ralph Clews, each showing fishermen in the foreground and towns and manors in the distance, with scroll border and impressed maker's marks on the reverse, the oblong platter showing a scene with a town and castle on a hillside with a river, boats, and figures in the foreground, (chip on one plate, rim repairs on platter), dia. 10, 10 1/4, 10 1/8, 8 7/8, 8 7/8, 17 1/4 in., respectively.
