French Educational, group of two boxed sets of cards, early 19th century; first, Second Jeu de Cartes Instructives Grammaire, V.E. Joux, 1829, Paris, 48 engraved cards with explanations and instructions on grammar, punctuation with most of the cards relating to verbs and the conjugation of them, in original box; second, a set of cards containing words and phrases translated from the French to the German, in its original box, both together with four miscellaneous map cards, (overall very good).
