Incised Decorated Two-Handled Redware Jar, possibly William Weidel, Tulpehocken, Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, c. 1860, baluster-form jar with applied reeded strap handles, coggled bands around rim, shoulder, and middle, one side ornamented with an incised bird perched on a branch, the other side with a leafy branch, (minor glaze wear), ht. 6 1/8 in. Provenance: Ex Gale H. Carter collection, Old Greenwich, Connecticut.
