American, mid 20th century. A mid century modern wooden pet carrier with c form Bakelite handle to top, wood veneer exterior surfaces, silver aluminum edges, rivets, and portholes to each long side, and a hinged door to one narrow side having vertical bars through which to see the pet, the door secured to body with chain closure. Mark to underside "Lane", possibly for Lane Furniture.. Overall approximately 17.25" x 24" x 14.5".
