Closed Mouth Kestner Swivel Neck Bisque Doll, Germany, c. 1880s, brown lined stationary eyes, closed mouth with hint of smile, unoutlined mouth with red line between lips, long blonde human hair wig, faintly impressed 6 at crown, (shoulderplate has been cracked and reglued, head seems intact but has was secured with tape to plate), gusseted kid body, bisque lower arms, aqua silk crepe dress and well-constructed matching hat, ht. 16 in.
