Small Kestner 155 Bisque Head Doll, Germany, early 20th century, brown sleeping eyes, open mouth, upper teeth (light rubs on nose and cheeks), impressed Made in Germany 155 , original blonde mohair wig, articulated composition body in original finish, jointed knees, straight arms with cupped hands, original cotton teddy and slip, pink and white cotton dress, blue socks and tiny blue leather ankle-strap shoes, ht. 7 3/4 in. Note: the stringing at the lower leg has been glued into the knee ball, some glue in cracks at the area. The side of the doll's lower left thigh has been chipped away, an area about 1/4 inch high.
