All-Bisque Wedding Cake Topper Dolls with Provenance, Germany, 1935, painted bisque dolls, bride in white cotton gown and veil, molded white shoes, groom in black felt tuxedo, molded top hat, ht. 3, 3 1/2 in. Provenance: Originally used on wedding cake at April 17, 1935 marriage of Margaret Aspinwall and Herbert Lively, later at their daughter's wedding in 1971, representing the "presence" of her father, then deceased.
