Early Bone Pocket Game by Mariaual le Jeunne, probably 18th century, signed inside lid Mariaual le Jeunne a Paris Fecit , comprising seven 1 1/4-inch dia. red counters, six hexagonal box counters, and three rods, in red-stained box with incised design of dancing rustic couple with border of flowers and different species of bird flanking 1 1/2-inch dia. rotating disc with window that reveals numbers from 1 - 10, the inside lid with polychrome-incised flower design, the base depicting duck and ducklings, 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 in., (missing end section of lid).
