Philip Pearlstein (American, b. 1924) Two Models on Daybed with Peruvian Cloth Signed and dated "Philip Pearlstein 76" l.l., identified on a label from Martin Lawrence Galleries affixed to the reverse. Watercolor on paper, sheet size 29 1/4 x 41 1/4 in. (74.3 x 104.7 cm), framed. Condition: Deckled edges, not examined out of frame. Provenance: A private New England collection. A copy of a letter from the artist discussing this work, dated 1995, accompanies the lot. The work appears to be floating in the frame. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no visible condition issues to report.
