Matteo Sarno (Italian, 1894-1957) Capri Signed, titled and dated "M. Sarno...1936" l.l. Oil on panel, 10 1/2 x 11 in. (26.6 x 27.9 cm), unframed. Condition: Abrasions, minor losses, surface grime. The panel is very slightly warped. There is a small circular (perhaps nail hole) puncture with losses u.r. There are some other minute scattered losses and light scattered abrsions throughout. The work would benefit from a cleaning.
