Albert Fitch Bellows (American, 1829-1883) Afternoon on the River Signed and dated "A F Bellows 1882" l. l. Oil on canvas, 13 x 21 1/4 in. (33.0 x 54.0 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, scattered craquelure with separating. The lining is adhered with glue. There are small strokes of retouch to the corner l.l. (not to signature), and near top edge. The craquelure is stable. The painting might benefit from cleaning.
