Stevens & Williams (English, 1847-1930), last quarter 19th century. A fine English emerald green cut to clear Gorham sterling silver mounted bottle or decanter, the silver knob shaped hinged lid with floral repousse collar hung with chain and joined to applied glass on rotund body, the stick neck and body in emerald green and cut clear with stylized flowering branches. The base with polished pontil and a slight hint of cranberry color. Sterling hallmarked for Gorham (indicative hallmark for last quarter 19th century), also stamped Sterling and the number 49. Approximate height 9.25".
