English and American, fourth quarter 19th century. A collection of two sterling mounted cut crystal items comprising of a lay down perfume scent bottle or flask by William Henry Williams (English (London), founded 1842), circa 1889, the long cylindrical body with deep cut geometric decoration of diamonds and and circles, the top mounted with a round collar and screw off ball form lid; crystal pitcher mounted with sterling collar and mouth by J. F. Fradley (American (New York), 1866-1936), circa 1875, the tall tapering body decorated with vertical sawtooth cuts and having tear drop shaped handle to one side with beveled cuts, the sterling mount with oak leaf and acorn repousse decoration under a streamlined mouth and spout. Bottle marked to side of sterling collar with maker's mark "WHW" beside 925 standard mark, London mark, and date mark. Pitcher marked to back of collar with maker's mark, "Sterling", "857X", "925-1000 Fine". Bottle approximately 1.375" tall, 10.875" wide, 2.125" deep. Pitcher approximately 11.75" tall, 6.25" spout to handle. Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
