Pope Sixtus IV (1471-1484), Manuscript Papal Bull, dated February 28, 1476, one page, on vellum, the "Golden Bull"; which was the first pontifical decree for the establishment of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception for the Roman Catholic church as a whole and granting an indulgence to all those who would assist the Church, framed, 15 3/4 by 17 3/4 in., (two repaired holes center right side, wrinkled throughout, minor age typical defects).
