Continental, likely Italian, early 19th century. A white painted partial gilt mirror in the Neoclassical style fashionable in the early 19th century comprising a molded cornice surmounting the paneled frame with central gilt bearded male mask flanked by floral garlands, the small flanking panels with gilt classical profiles, over the long panels with ribboned foliate garlands, carved paterae, and urns from which foliate bushes flourish, the lowest central panel decorated with central urn flanked by foliate garlands, flanked by small panels decorated with classical leaves. Approximate height 48.75", width 33.5", depth 2.75".
