Etruscan Revival 18kt Gold Brooch, attributed to Giacinto Melillo, the capped tassel with bead, palmette, and drop motifs, allover granulation and wiretwist accents, surmounted by two figures of Nike holding frond and circlet motifs, pin stem and c-clasp with French import stamps, unsigned, (losses). Two similar brooches were sold at Skinner, June 11, 1996 in sale 1715, lot 335, signed G.M., and March 24, 1998 in sale 1834, lot 301, unsigned.
