Mordechai Avniel (Israeli, 1900-1989), and Israeli/American School, 20th Century Two Watercolors: Mt. Carmel and Lake Alhumbarah Carmel dated "11.10.53" and inscribed in Hebrew on the mat l.r., identified on a label affixed to the frame, Lake signed "Theodore..." l.r. and titled l.l., identified on accompanying information. Watercolor on paper, sight sizes to 13 1/2 x 18 3/4 in. Condition: Toning, Lake adhered to mat with subtle rippling, Carmel not examined out of frame. Provenance: A New York philanthropic Jewish organization.
